RenewalDesk is built on a simple principle: your client and policy data is yours. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal or business information.

We collect no personal data. All information you enter into RenewalDesk — clients, policies, carriers, renewal actions, notes, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using SwiftData.
If you enable iCloud sync (Pro feature), your data syncs end-to-end via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure under your Apple ID. LynxApps has no access to your iCloud data.
RenewalDesk can optionally import contacts from your iOS Contacts app to prefill client forms. Contact data is read locally and never transmitted to any server. If you deny Contacts permission, you can add clients manually at any time. Permission can be changed in iPhone Settings at any time.
RenewalDesk uses Firebase Analytics (Google) for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Events logged include screen views, feature interactions (e.g. policy added, export triggered, paywall shown), and app stability data. No client names, policy details, premium figures, or personally identifiable information is ever included in analytics events.
Firebase data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
RenewalDesk sends local push notifications for policy renewal reminders. These are scheduled on-device and never routed through a LynxApps server. You can disable notifications in iPhone Settings at any time, or customize reminder timing in RenewalDesk's Reminders Settings.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2. LynxApps does not receive or store your payment information. Purchase receipts are validated on-device. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID in the App Store.
iCloud sync is disabled by default. When enabled by a Pro subscriber, your SwiftData store syncs via Apple's CloudKit container iCloud.com.lynxapps.renewaldesk. This is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. The sync toggle takes effect on next app launch. You can disable sync at any time in Settings.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets (Pro) display a snapshot of your upcoming renewals and 30-day count. This snapshot is stored in a shared App Group container on your device (group.com.lynxapps.renewaldesk) and is never transmitted to any server.
All your data is deleted when you uninstall RenewalDesk. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can delete the CloudKit data via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. There is no account to delete on our end because we hold no data.
RenewalDesk is designed for professional insurance agents and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy if RenewalDesk's data practices change. The latest version is always available at /renewaldesk/privacy. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
