1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InspectKit ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use InspectKit on Apple devices you own or control for your personal or business inspection purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

InspectKit offers the following Pro options:

• Pro Monthly -- $2.99/month, auto-renewing
• Pro Annual -- $24.99/year, auto-renewing (approximately 30% savings)
• Pro Lifetime -- $39.99 one-time purchase, no subscription, no renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Prices are in USD and may vary by region. All purchases are final; refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Free Tier and Pro Features

Free tier includes: 1 inspection, 1 report, photo capture and annotation, evidence-stamped photos, video findings (up to 20s), voice note transcription, finding severity, all 19 built-in templates, custom templates, 5-language support, and on-device AI features on compatible devices.

Pro unlocks: unlimited inspections, unlimited watermark-free reports, custom branding (logo, signature, and footer), iCloud sync across devices, and priority support.

The free tier report limit is tracked cumulatively (not by how many reports currently exist), so deleting a free report does not reset the limit. Features not listed above as Pro-gated are available to all users.

5. On-Device AI

InspectKit's AI features ("Improve with AI" and AI Template Builder) use Apple Foundation Models, which run entirely on your device. These features require iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence on a compatible iPhone. LynxApps does not operate an AI backend; no finding content, notes, or voice transcripts are transmitted to LynxApps or any third-party AI service by these features. AI features are available to all plan tiers on compatible devices and are not a Pro-exclusive benefit.

6. Video Findings

Video clips attached to findings are stored on your device only and are not synced to iCloud. They are included in your normal iOS device backup. Clips are deleted when you delete the finding or inspection they belong to. LynxApps does not upload, store, or access your video clips.

7. Photo Location Data

Evidence stamps on photos include GPS coordinates and a reverse-geocoded address derived from your device's location at the time of capture. This data is stored with the photo on your device (and in your iCloud account if sync is enabled) and is never transmitted to LynxApps. You may disable evidence stamps in Settings at any time.

8. Professional Responsibility

InspectKit is a documentation and reporting tool. You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for the quality, accuracy, and completeness of your inspections
• You must comply with all professional licensing requirements in your jurisdiction
• InspectKit reports are generated from data you enter and are not independently verified
• LynxApps is not liable for errors, omissions, or negligence in your inspections or reports
• AI-generated content (findings or templates) must be reviewed and verified by you before use in a professional report

9. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all inspection data, photos, video clips, voice notes, and reports you create. LynxApps does not access, collect, upload, or sell your inspection content. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its built-in templates, design, and code, is owned by LynxApps and protected by copyright. You retain all rights to the inspection data, photos, video clips, and reports you create. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its built-in templates.

11. iCloud Sync

iCloud sync (Pro feature) stores your inspection data in your personal iCloud account. LynxApps does not have access to this data. iCloud is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. Video clips are explicitly excluded from iCloud sync and remain on your device only.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use InspectKit for any unlawful purpose, attempt to circumvent purchase enforcement, reverse-engineer the App, or use AI features to generate content you intend to pass off as independently verified inspection findings without human review.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

InspectKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular professional purpose or jurisdiction. AI-generated findings and templates are suggestions only and must be reviewed by a qualified inspector. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will meet all regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of InspectKit, including reliance on any AI-generated content or any report produced by the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use InspectKit at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscriptions.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /inspectkit/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
