These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of UpRep ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use UpRep on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.
UpRep asks you to perform physical exercise, and it is your responsibility to exercise safely:
You use the App and perform exercises entirely at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, LynxApps is not liable for any injury, harm, or loss arising from exercising with the App.
UpRep uses Apple's AlarmKit and system notifications to sound alarms. While we design the App to behave like a reliable alarm, we cannot guarantee that an alarm will always sound - factors outside our control, such as device settings, low battery, silent/focus modes, iOS updates, or device malfunction, may affect it. Do not rely on UpRep as your sole alarm for safety-critical wake-ups. You are responsible for configuring your device so alarms can sound.
UpRep offers a free tier and UpRep Premium, available as:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Purchases restore across your devices through your Apple Account. All purchases are final; refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy.
The free tier includes up to 2 saved wake-ups, three exercises (push-ups, squats, jumping jacks), full rep counting, routines within those limits, and progress and streaks, and is supported by ads. Premium unlocks all five exercises (adding lunges and high knees), unlimited wake-ups, and removes ads. We may adjust the specific features included in each tier over time.
UpRep requires camera access to count reps. All camera processing happens on-device and no images are stored or transmitted - see our Privacy Policy. If you deny camera access, the core rep-counting feature will not function.
You retain full ownership of your alarms, history, and progress stored on your device and in your own iCloud. We do not access, collect, or sell this data. Deleting the App removes locally stored data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The free tier displays advertisements. By using the free tier you consent to the display of ads. Premium subscribers are not shown ads. Ad content is served by third-party providers and is subject to their policies.
You agree not to use UpRep for any unlawful purpose, attempt to circumvent subscription or rep-verification enforcement, or attempt to reverse-engineer the App.
UpRep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that alarms will always sound, or that rep counting will be perfectly accurate. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of UpRep - including any personal injury, missed wake-up, or reliance on the App - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may terminate or suspend your license to use UpRep at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /uprep/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
