Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Receipt Digitizer. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

2. Nature of the App

Receipt Digitizer is a personal expense organiser. It is not tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice, and tax reports and summaries are provided for your own records. Check any figures you rely on for tax or reimbursement purposes with a qualified professional.

3. License

LynxApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Receipt Digitizer for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the App
• Attempt unauthorised access to the App or its systems

4. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the receipts and expenses you enter, including amounts, dates, and categories.
• You are responsible for keeping your backups and device secure.
• Text recognition on receipts is an aid. Review the details it suggests before you save them.

5. Pro and Google Play Billing

Receipt Digitizer offers a free version and Pro, which removes ads and adds more features. Pro is purchased through Google Play.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play, and prices are shown in the App and on Google Play. Prices may vary by region.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Google in accordance with Google Play policies.

6. Data Handling

Your receipts and expense records are stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Anonymous analytics and crash data are collected via Google services. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Third-Party Services

Receipt Digitizer uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own terms:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) - advertising in the free version
• Google Firebase - anonymous analytics and crash reporting
• Google Play Billing - payments and app distribution

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, source code, and materials in Receipt Digitizer are owned by LynxApps. You are granted only the limited personal-use license described above; all other rights are reserved.

9. Disclaimers

Receipt Digitizer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that text recognition will read every receipt correctly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months or USD $100.

11. Termination

You may stop using Receipt Digitizer at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made.
