1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Furivio ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Furivio on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.
3. Entertainment, Not Fact
Furivio creates fictional characters, stories, comics, chats and daily adventures based on the details you enter about your pet. This content is entertainment. It is not a real account of your pet's thoughts, feelings, or behaviour, and the App does not read or translate animal minds. You agree not to present Furivio's content as factual.
4. Not Veterinary or Medical Advice
The care reminders, health log and any content in the App are for your personal record-keeping only. They do not provide veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your pet's health, medicines, vaccinations, and emergencies.
5. AI-Generated Content
Stories, comics, chat replies, titles, summaries and daily content are generated by an AI model on your device. The output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable, and it may not match your pet. You are responsible for reviewing content before you rely on it or share it. Generated artwork may be a template image when artwork cannot be created.
6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Furivio offers Premium access through the following options:
- Premium Monthly - an auto-renewing monthly subscription
- Premium Yearly - an auto-renewing yearly subscription
- Premium Lifetime - a one-time purchase with permanent access
Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy.
7. Free and Premium Limits
The free version allows one pet profile, 3 stories per day, 1 comic per day, 30 chat messages per day, and up to 40 memories. Premium allows up to 8 pet profiles, 30 stories per day, 10 comics per day, and 300 chat messages per day. We may change these limits and will describe any change in the App or on this page.
8. Advertising
We plan to show advertisements in the free version through Google Mobile Ads, after you give consent where required. Premium subscribers do not see ads. Ad content is provided by Google and is subject to Google's policies.
9. Your Content and Photos
You keep ownership of the pet details, memories, photos and other content you enter ("Your Content"). You confirm that you have the right to use any photo you add, and that you have the permission of any person who appears in it. You are responsible for the content you create, share or export.
10. Memorial Mode
If you mark a pet as remembered, chat, daily extras and care reminders pause until you clear the mark. We include this feature to help you, and it does not replace support for grief or bereavement. If you need support, please reach out to someone you trust or a local support service.
11. Your Data and Backups
Your data is stored on your device and, when iCloud sync is on, in your private iCloud account. We do not have access to it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups, including exports. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Furivio for any unlawful purpose, to create content that harasses or targets another person, to circumvent subscription or usage limits, or to reverse-engineer the App.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Furivio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI features will be available on every device. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Furivio, including loss of data, missed care reminders, or decisions made based on App content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license to use Furivio if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be at /furivio/terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
