1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClosingDesk for Android ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClosingDesk on Android devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.
3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
ClosingDesk offers Pro plans, which are sold through Google Play. Current plans and prices are shown in Google Play before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy.
4. Free Tier Limits
The free tier includes up to 3 active deals, up to 10 expenses per calendar month, report previews, and local-only storage. Export (PDF/CSV) and widgets require a Pro subscription.
5. Not Financial or Tax Advice
ClosingDesk is a record-keeping and calculation tool for your own reference. Commission calculations, expense totals, mileage deductions, and tax summary figures are estimates based on data you enter. They do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional for advice about your specific situation.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into ClosingDesk. We do not access, collect, or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
7. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter into ClosingDesk. We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect input, including but not limited to incorrect sale prices, commission rates, or expense amounts.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ClosingDesk for any unlawful purpose, including misrepresenting financial data, circumventing app features, or attempting to reverse-engineer the App.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
ClosingDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ClosingDesk, including loss of data or business income, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license to use ClosingDesk at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /closingdesk-android/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
