1. Data We Collect
We collect no personal data. ClosingDesk stores all information you enter - deals, commissions, expenses, mileage trips, receipt photos, and settings - exclusively on your Android device.
ClosingDesk does not require an account and does not sync your data to LynxApps servers.
2. Analytics & Crash Reporting
ClosingDesk uses Firebase (Google) Crashlytics for anonymous crash reporting and app stability analytics. This may include device model, Android version, and crash stack traces. No deal data, commission figures, names, addresses, or financial information is ever included in these reports.
Firebase data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Receipt Photos
Photos you attach to expense records are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any LynxApps server.
4. In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. LynxApps does not receive or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Google account in Google Play.
5. Backups
ClosingDesk lets you create a CSV data backup and save it where you choose, such as your Downloads folder or a cloud storage app you already use. Once a backup file leaves ClosingDesk, it is handled by the app or service you saved it to, not by LynxApps.
6. App Lock (Fingerprint / Screen Lock)
ClosingDesk's app lock uses Android's built-in biometric and device credential prompts. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to LynxApps.
7. Home Screen Widgets
Widgets display a snapshot of your YTD income and goal progress. This snapshot is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
8. Permissions
- Camera: to photograph receipts and attach them to expenses, if you choose to.
- Photos and files: only the images you choose to attach or import.
- Notifications: to send reminders you set up. These are scheduled on your device.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is stored on your device until you delete it in ClosingDesk. Uninstalling ClosingDesk or clearing its storage in Android Settings removes the local data. There is no account to delete on our side because we hold no data.
10. Children's Privacy
ClosingDesk is designed for professional real estate agents and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if ClosingDesk's data practices change. The latest version is always available at /closingdesk-android/privacy. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
