1. Data We Collect
We collect no personal data. All information you enter into RenewalDesk - clients, policies, carriers, renewal actions, notes, and settings - is stored exclusively on your Android device.
RenewalDesk does not require an account and does not sync your data to LynxApps servers.
2. Contacts Access
RenewalDesk can optionally import contacts from your Android Contacts app to prefill client forms. Contact data is read locally and never transmitted to any server. If you deny Contacts permission, you can add clients manually at any time. Permission can be changed in Android Settings at any time.
3. Analytics & Crash Reporting
RenewalDesk uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Events logged include screen views, feature interactions (e.g. policy added, export triggered, paywall shown), and app stability data. No client names, policy details, premium figures, or personally identifiable information is ever included in analytics events.
Firebase data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Notifications
RenewalDesk sends local notifications for policy renewal reminders. These are scheduled on your device and never routed through a LynxApps server. You can disable notifications in Android Settings at any time, or customize reminder timing in RenewalDesk's Reminders Settings.
5. In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. LynxApps does not receive or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Google account in Google Play.
6. Widgets
Home Screen widgets (Pro) display a snapshot of your upcoming renewals and 30-day count. This snapshot is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
7. Backups
RenewalDesk does not sync your data to LynxApps or to any cloud service operated by us. Your data is only backed up if you choose to back it up, using Android's own backup features or a file you export yourself. Those backups are handled by the service you choose, not by LynxApps.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
All your data is deleted when you uninstall RenewalDesk, or when you clear its storage in Android Settings. There is no account to delete on our end because we hold no data.
9. Children's Privacy
RenewalDesk is designed for professional insurance agents and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if RenewalDesk's data practices change. The latest version is always available at /renewaldesk-android/privacy. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
