Setting up is easy:

1. Open ReefDose and tap the + button to add a tank
2. Enter your tank name, volume (gallons or liters), and type
3. Log initial water parameters
4. Set up task reminders for maintenance and testing
5. Add your dosing products and livestock inventory

The dosing calculator uses standard reef chemistry formulas with a comprehensive product library. The calculator:

• Shows a 0 mL result when you are already at target or the product lowers the parameter in the wrong direction
• Disables "Log Dose" for amounts below 0.05 mL to prevent accidental near-zero logs
• Predicts stock depletion based on dosing history

Always verify calculations independently. ReefDose aids your decision-making -- it is not a substitute for expertise and caution.

Yes! iCloud sync is available with a Pro subscription. When enabled:

• Your tank data syncs across iPhone, iPad, and Mac
• Data is encrypted using Apple's CloudKit private database
• Syncing happens automatically in the background
• LynxApps does not have access to your synced data

iCloud sync is optional -- you can use ReefDose entirely offline without it.

Home Screen widgets (Pro feature) show your tank health at a glance:

• Select which tank to display in the widget configuration
• The widget shows your reef health score, key parameters, and upcoming tasks
• Snapshots update automatically when you log new data in the app

Add widgets by long-pressing your Home Screen and tapping the "+" button.

ReefDose supports 5 languages with complete UI localization:

• English
• Spanish (Espanol)
• French (Francais)
• Portuguese (Portugues)
• Japanese (Nihongo)

You can change the app language at any time in Settings -- no restart required. The language you select is independent of your device language.

Yes, Pro subscribers can export data as CSV or PDF files:

• CSV export includes all sections: tank info, parameter readings, dosing, tasks, livestock, equipment, expenses, and journal
• PDF export generates a formatted tank report with health summary, parameter sparklines, and all records

Free plan: Export is a Pro feature.

You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID:

1. Open Settings
2. Tap [Your Name] at the top
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Find ReefDose
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Your data stays on your device. If you downgrade from Pro to Free:

• All your tank data is preserved
• iCloud sync will pause (your local data remains)
• You will be limited to 1 active tank in the free plan
• You can re-upgrade anytime to access all your tanks again

Yes! ReefDose works completely offline. You can:

• Log parameters without internet
• Calculate dosing offline
• Manage tasks and reminders locally

iCloud sync requires internet, but all core features work offline.
