1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PropertyNest for Android ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PropertyNest on Android devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
PropertyNest offers Premium plans, which are sold through Google Play. Current plans and prices are shown in Google Play before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy.
4. Free Tier Limits
The free tier allows: 1 property, up to 8 rooms per property, up to 20 assets per property, up to 3 documents per asset, and up to 5 active reminders. Maintenance history, OCR document scanning, search, and timeline view are available on the free tier. Unlimited properties, unlimited rooms, assets, and documents, Property Passport PDF export, and an ad-free experience require a Premium subscription.
5. Not Professional Advice
PropertyNest is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not constitute legal, financial, insurance, structural, or professional property advice of any kind. Information you record in the App is for your personal reference only. Consult qualified professionals for guidance on property valuations, insurance coverage, legal obligations, and compliance matters.
6. Accuracy of Records
You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter, including asset details, maintenance dates, document contents, and financial figures. LynxApps is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect input or reliance on figures or records displayed by the App.
7. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into PropertyNest. We do not access, collect, or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently.
8. Document Scanning and OCR
The OCR scanning feature extracts text from documents entirely on your device. We make no guarantee of accuracy for OCR-extracted text. You should verify extracted information before relying on it. We are not responsible for errors in scanned or extracted content.
9. Reminders and Notifications
PropertyNest can deliver maintenance reminders via Android notifications. We do not guarantee delivery of notifications -- Android system behaviour, device settings, battery optimisation, and Do Not Disturb mode may affect notification delivery. You are responsible for ensuring your property maintenance is completed on time regardless of whether a notification was received.
10. Advertising
The free tier displays banner advertisements via Google AdMob. By using the free tier you consent to the display of ads. Premium subscribers are not shown ads. Ad content is served by Google and is subject to Google's policies.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PropertyNest for any unlawful purpose, attempt to circumvent subscription enforcement, attempt to reverse-engineer the App, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
PropertyNest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PropertyNest, including loss of data, missed maintenance tasks, or reliance on records stored in the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license to use PropertyNest at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall all copies of the App.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /propertynest-android/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
