What is MicroHabit Physics?

MicroHabit Physics treats your daily habits as forces in a physics simulation. Positive habits (exercise, reading, sleep) are "forces" that push your trajectory upward. Negative habits (social media, junk food) are "friction" that pull it down. The app calculates your momentum score and projects where you're headed based on your current habit patterns.

How does it work?

  1. Add Habits — Create positive forces (things you want to do) and friction (habits to reduce)
  2. Log Daily — Check off completed habits each day with intensity ratings
  3. Watch Your Trajectory — See your momentum score and 7-30 day projection update in real time
  4. Get Insights — Understand which habits have the biggest impact on your trajectory

How to Control Your Data

  1. Opt Out of Analytics: Settings → Privacy & Data → Toggle off "Diagnostic Data Collection"
  2. Control Ads: Visit https://adssettings.google.com to control Google ad personalization
  3. Remove All Ads: Upgrade to Premium—no ads, no ad tracking, period
  4. Disable iCloud Sync: Use the app locally with no cloud data if you prefer

Troubleshooting

The app crashes on launch+
  1. Force-quit the app (swipe up from the bottom)
  2. Restart your iPhone or iPad
  3. Re-open the app
  4. If it persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling from the App Store
My data isn't syncing to iCloud+
  1. Check that iCloud sync is enabled in Settings → [App Name] → iCloud
  2. Ensure you're signed in to your Apple ID (Settings → [Your Name])
  3. Check that you have iCloud storage available
  4. Try turning iCloud sync off and back on in the app's Settings
Notifications aren't working+
  1. Check that notifications are enabled: Settings → [App Name] → Notifications → Allow Notifications (toggle on)
  2. Ensure "Alerts" is enabled (not just "Sounds" or "Badges")
  3. Check your phone's Do Not Disturb settings
  4. Restart your device
I can't add more than 5 habits+

This is the free tier limit. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited habits.

I see ads in the free version—is this normal?+

Yes. Free-tier users see Google AdMob ads. You can:

  1. Opt out of personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com (you'll still see ads, just less targeted)
  2. Upgrade to Premium to remove all ads

Subscription Management

How do I cancel my subscription?

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Select "Subscriptions"
  4. Find "MicroHabit Physics"
  5. Tap "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription"
  6. Confirm cancellation

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Lynx Apps. Contact Apple Support within 14 days of purchase for refund requests.

How do I upgrade from monthly to annual?

  1. Open Settings → Subscriptions → MicroHabit Physics
  2. Tap "Choose an Option"
  3. Select the Annual Plan
  4. Confirm

Account & Data

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact us at lynxapps.contact@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" including your Apple ID email. We'll delete all data within 7 business days.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your habit data is stored locally on your device. Only iCloud if you enable sync (encrypted end-to-end). Never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Can I use the app on multiple devices?

Yes, if you enable iCloud sync (Premium feature). Your data will sync across all devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Why do I see ads in the free version?+

Ads support free development. If you prefer an ad-free experience, upgrade to Premium.

Is my habit data used for ads?+

No. Ad data comes from Google, not your habit logs. Your habit data is private and never used for advertising.

What happens if I opt out of Analytics?+

We won't collect your usage data via Firebase, but you'll still see ads in the free tier. Crash reporting is separate and helps us fix bugs.

Is there a desktop version?+

Not currently. The app is iOS-only, but you can sync data across your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac with iCloud).

What if I find a bug?+

We automatically receive crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. You can also email us at lynxapps.contact@gmail.com with details.

How long do you keep my data?+

Habit data: as long as your account exists. Analytics data: 90 days (Google's policy). Crash data: 90 days.
