Your habit data stays on your device. All habit logs, momentum calculations, and personal data are stored locally on your device. It is never sent to our servers unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync.

MicroHabit Physics ("App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and handle your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Habit Data: Habit names, emojis, categories, types (forces/friction), daily logs, completion status, intensity ratings, timestamps
- User Settings: Daily reminder time, notification preferences, iCloud sync preferences, subscription status
- Communication: Feedback, bug reports, or support messages
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, unique device identifiers, IP address, locale, timezone
- CloudKit Sync Data: When you enable iCloud sync (Premium), habit data is synchronized to Apple's CloudKit service
- Firebase Analytics: App sessions, usage patterns, feature adoption, device info, crash reports, error logs
- Google AdMob: Advertising ID, ad impressions, interactions, approximate location
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core functionality (create habits, log entries, calculate momentum)
- Improve the app through Firebase Analytics
- Detect and fix crashes via Firebase Crashlytics
- Display ads to free-tier users via Google AdMob
- Synchronize data across devices via CloudKit (Premium)
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Send daily reminder notifications
- Comply with applicable laws
4. Data Storage and Synchronization
4.1 Local Storage
Your habit data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data persists when you uninstall the app.
4.2 CloudKit Synchronization
If you enable iCloud sync (Premium feature), your data is encrypted and stored in Apple's CloudKit database. CloudKit sync is optional—you can use the app fully without enabling it.
4.3 Firebase Storage
Analytics and crash data are sent to Google's Firebase servers. This data is aggregated, anonymized, retained for 90 days, and never linked to your habit content.
4.4 Data Deletion
- App Uninstall: Local data remains unless you choose "Delete App Data"
- CloudKit Data: Delete by turning off iCloud sync in Settings
- Firebase Data: Automatically deleted after 90 days
- Account Deletion: Contact us at lynxapps.contact@gmail.com to request complete deletion
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Apple Services
CloudKit for optional data sync, StoreKit 2 for purchases, Apple ID for subscriptions. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5.2 Google Firebase
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collect usage and crash data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
5.3 Google AdMob
AdMob serves ads in the free tier. You can opt out of personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com. Premium subscribers see no ads.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only as necessary with Apple (iCloud), Google (Firebase & AdMob), and as required by law.
7. Data Security
We implement HTTPS, local encryption, SwiftData encryption, and secure CloudKit channels. However, no method is 100% secure.
8. Your Privacy Rights

9. Ad-Free Experience
Premium subscribers do not see ads and are not tracked by AdMob.

11. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date.
