Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HonestFast. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

2. Nature of the App

HonestFast is a personal fasting tracker. It provides tracking, timers, educational stage descriptions, and Ramadan times based on astronomical calculations. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

3. License

LynxApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use HonestFast for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the App
• Attempt unauthorised access to the App or its systems

4. Health and Medical Disclaimer

• HonestFast is a personal health tracking tool. It is not a substitute for medical advice, professional nutrition guidance, or healthcare.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new fasting routine, especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have diabetes.
• Stop fasting and seek medical help if you feel unwell.
• Metabolic stage descriptions are general information. Individual responses vary.
• Ramadan times are calculated for your selected location. Confirm them with your local mosque or authority where needed.

5. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the fasting, water and settings data you enter.
• You are responsible for keeping your device secure and your reminders enabled if you rely on them.

6. Premium and Google Play Billing

HonestFast offers a free version and a Premium upgrade, which adds advanced analytics and custom fasting plans.

• Premium is purchased through Google Play. Prices are shown in the App and on Google Play, and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Google in accordance with Google Play policies.
• Data stays on your device if you stop Premium. Premium-only features become unavailable.

7. Data Handling

Your fasting records are stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Anonymous analytics and crash data may be collected through Google services. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Third-Party Services

HonestFast uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own terms:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — advertising in the free version
• Google Firebase — anonymous analytics and crash reporting
• Google Play Billing — payments and app distribution
• Health Connect — only if you choose to connect it

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, source code, and materials in HonestFast are owned by LynxApps. You are granted only the limited personal-use license described above; all other rights are reserved.

10. Disclaimers

HonestFast is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reminders will fire at exactly the time scheduled on every device.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, or health effects arising from your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the preceding 12 months, or $0 if you used only the free version.

12. Termination

You may stop using HonestFast at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made.
