1. Service Description

Duplicate Photo Finder ("App") is developed by LynxApps ("we," "us," "our") and uses on-device AI and machine learning to identify duplicate and visually similar photos and videos using three detection methods: exact matching, perceptual matching, and AI-powered visual similarity. All detection and analysis occurs locally on your device — your photos are not uploaded to our servers.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, or lend the App to others
• Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for commercial purposes

3. Pricing & Subscriptions

The App offers a free version with limited features and ads, plus Pro options:

• Pro Monthly: $1.99 USD per month (auto-renewing)
• Pro Yearly: $14.99 USD per year (auto-renewing)
• Pro Lifetime: $29.99 USD one-time purchase

Subscription terms:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled in your account settings (Apple ID for iOS, Google Play for Android)
• Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) processes all transactions and handles billing
• Refunds are governed by the respective app store's policies
• Manage or cancel anytime through your device settings

4. Data Handling & Privacy

Your photos and videos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared — they are processed entirely on your device. We collect limited technical data (device info, crash reports, usage analytics, advertising identifiers) through third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. User Responsibilities

• Use the App only for legitimate, legal purposes
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to the App
• Back up important photos before deletion
• Verify duplicates before confirming removal
• Understand that deleted items go to the Photos "Recently Deleted" folder for 30 days before permanent deletion

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that all duplicates will be detected, or that it will function on all devices or iOS versions. You use the App at your own risk and are solely responsible for backing up your photos and videos.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases, or $0 if you used only the free version. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including all code, design, graphics, and features, is owned by LynxApps. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use our branding without permission.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, or as required by law. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising), and the Apple App Store (transactions and billing). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
