1. Service Description
Duplicate Photo & Video Finder ("App") is developed by LynxApps ("we," "us," "our") and uses on-device AI and machine learning to identify duplicate and visually similar photos and videos using five detection methods: dHash perceptual matching, SHA-256 exact matching, Vision ML similarity, color histogram analysis, and EXIF clustering. All detection and analysis occurs locally on your device -- your photos and videos are not uploaded to our servers.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not:
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, or lend the App to others
- Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
3. Pricing & Subscriptions
The App offers a free version with limited deletions and ads, plus Pro options:
Free Plan
- Up to 100 photo groups (one-by-one deletion)
- Up to 10 video groups (one-by-one deletion)
- Ad-supported (banner and interstitial ads)
Pro Plan Options
- Pro Monthly: $0.99 USD per month (auto-renewing)
- Pro Yearly: $9.99 USD per year (auto-renewing)
- Pro Lifetime: $14.99 USD one-time purchase, no subscription, no renewal
Pro Plan Benefits
- Unlimited photo and video deletions
- Bulk delete all duplicates at once
- No ads
Subscription terms:
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- All transactions are processed by Apple
- Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Manage or cancel anytime via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
4. Data Handling & Privacy
Your photos and videos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared -- they are processed entirely on your device. We collect limited technical data (device info, crash reports, anonymous usage analytics, and advertising identifiers) through third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, Unity Ads). 5. User Responsibilities
- Use the App only for legitimate, legal purposes
- Do not attempt to circumvent the App's purchase enforcement
- Back up important photos before deletion
- Verify duplicates before confirming removal
- Understand that deleted items go to Photos "Recently Deleted" for 30 days before permanent deletion
- Keep your Apple ID secure
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that all duplicates will be detected, or that it will function on all devices or iOS versions. You are solely responsible for backing up your photos and videos before deletion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for subscriptions or in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $0 if you used only the free version. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, or business interruption.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including all code, design, graphics, and features, is owned by LynxApps and protected by copyright. All rights are reserved. You retain all rights to photos and videos you process with the App. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use our branding without permission.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, or as required by law. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.
10. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple's App Store for subscriptions and billing, Firebase (by Google) for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting, Google AdMob for ad delivery, and Unity Ads for ad mediation. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available at /duplicate-photo-finder/terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Important reminder: Before deleting any photos or videos, ensure you have a backup of important files. Items deleted through the App go to your Photos "Recently Deleted" album for 30 days before permanent deletion.
