It uses on-device AI and machine learning to scan your library and identify duplicate and similar photos using three methods:

• Exact matching: identical photos (same file)
• Perceptual matching: photos that look the same even if resized
• AI visual similarity: burst shots and near-identical images

All processing happens entirely on your device — your photos never leave your device (iOS or Android).

Your privacy is completely protected. We do not collect, upload, transmit, or sell your photos. All scanning and duplicate detection happens entirely on your device. We only collect minimal technical data (crash reports and usage analytics) to improve the app.

Most users scan 1,000+ photos in under 30 seconds. Speed depends on your library size, device model, photo resolution, and OS version (iOS/Android). On-device processing makes it much faster than cloud-based solutions.

The app ranks and pre-selects the best photo in each group based on resolution, sharpness, file format, and overall quality. You stay in full control — review the recommendations and manually adjust your selection before confirming.

Don't worry — deleted photos don't disappear immediately:

• They go to your device's Photos app trash/bin folder
• You have 30 days to recover them (iOS and Android)
• Recovery is easy: open Photos → Recently Deleted/Trash → Recover
• The app also provides one-tap undo

We recommend backing up important photos to iCloud or Google Photos before deleting.

5. Tap Manage or Cancel Subscription

Android: Manage through Google Play

2. Tap your profile icon
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Find Duplicate Photo Finder
5. Tap Manage or Cancel

iOS:

1. Open Settings
2. Find Duplicate Photo Finder
3. Tap Photos
4. Select "Full Access" or "All Photos"
5. Return to the app and scan again

Android:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Apps & Notifications
3. Find Duplicate Photo Finder
4. Tap Permissions
5. Enable Storage or Photos permission
6. Return to the app and scan again

The app needs full library access to detect duplicates across your entire library.
