These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ChatTale ("the App"), developed by LynxApps ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChatTale on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the App.
ChatTale offers the following Premium options:
Prices are set in App Store Connect and shown in your local currency at the point of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand. Manage or cancel subscriptions via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. All purchases are final; refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy.
The free tier lets you import WhatsApp exports and screenshots, view the full stats dashboard, see the core Wrapped story, and share your cards. Premium unlocks your full Wrapped (every card), AI-crafted insights, advanced group analysis, premium share cards, and an ad-free experience. Features may be adjusted over time.
ChatTale is made for fun. It celebrates your chats and presents playful, algorithmic statistics and observations. It does not provide relationship, psychological, medical, or professional advice of any kind, and it makes no judgments about you or the people you chat with. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the results.
You are responsible for the chat exports and screenshots you import. You represent that you have the right to import and analyze that content. All analysis happens on your device; we do not access, collect, upload, or sell your conversations. Saved stories store only derived results, not your raw messages. See our Privacy Policy for full details. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently.
ChatTale computes statistics from the text you import. Results depend on the completeness and formatting of that text, and imperfect exports or screenshots may produce incomplete or inaccurate stats. LynxApps makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any statistic or insight produced by the App.
ChatTale is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, or any other messaging platform. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any platform whose chats you export.
The free tier may display advertisements. By using the free tier you consent to the display of ads. Premium subscribers are not shown ads. Ads never contain your message content.
You agree not to use ChatTale for any unlawful purpose, to import content you do not have the right to use, to attempt to circumvent purchase enforcement, or to reverse-engineer the App.
ChatTale is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any statistic will be correct. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LynxApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ChatTale, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may terminate or suspend your license to use ChatTale at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /chattale/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LynxApps operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
