1. Service Description

Honest Fast ("App") is developed by LynxApps ("we," "us," "our") and provides a personal fasting tracker with metabolic stage insights, water logging, Ramadan mode with astronomically calculated prayer times, and health integration. All data is stored on your device using CoreData. The App does not sync to servers or require cloud accounts.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, or lend the App to others
• Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

3. Subscription Terms & Pricing

Honest Fast offers a free plan and three Premium subscription tiers:

Premium Plan Options

• Monthly: $1.99 USD per month (auto-renewing)

4. Subscription Management

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
• All transactions are processed by Apple
• Auto-renewing subscriptions will renew unless canceled in your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy
• You can cancel anytime through Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

5. Data Storage & Offline Operation

Honest Fast operates entirely offline:

• All fasting logs, water tracking, and preferences are stored locally on your device using CoreData
• No data is sent to LynxApps servers or third parties
• Data remains on your device even if you unsubscribe from Premium
• Deleting the app permanently removes all local data
• Optional: Connect Apple Health to track weight (stored in Apple's Health app, never transmitted elsewhere)

6. Apple Health Integration

• If you choose to connect Apple Health, Honest Fast reads body weight data for personal insights only
• Weight data never leaves your device and is not shared with us
• You can disconnect Apple Health at any time via iOS Settings
• All health data is protected by Apple's Health framework encryption

7. Ramadan Mode & Prayer Times

• Ramadan mode is free for all users and auto-detected via the Islamic Hijri calendar
• Prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) are calculated astronomically using the Muslim World League method
• Calculations are performed entirely on your device — no external API calls or server transmission
• Optional GPS location is used only to determine your local timezone for accurate times — location is never stored or transmitted
• You can manually select your city for prayer times instead of using GPS

8. User Responsibilities

• Use the App for legitimate personal health tracking purposes only
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to the App or other users' data
• Maintain accurate fasting logs if you share insights with others
• Understand that Honest Fast is a tracking tool, not a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice
• Consult a healthcare provider before making significant dietary or fasting changes, especially if you have underlying health conditions
• Keep your Apple ID secure if using iCloud backup

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Prayer time calculations will be perfectly accurate for all locations (weather, atmospheric conditions, and local terrain can affect real sunrise/sunset)
• Metabolic stage descriptions are universally accurate for all users (individual biology varies)
• The App will function on all devices or iOS versions

Important: Honest Fast is a personal health tracking tool. It is not a substitute for medical advice, professional nutrition guidance, or healthcare. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals before starting a new fasting regimen, especially if you have medical conditions, take medications, or are pregnant/nursing.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium subscriptions, or $0 if you used only the free version. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, health impacts, or business interruption arising from the App.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including all code, design, graphics, features, and prayer time algorithms, is owned by LynxApps. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use our branding without permission.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, or as required by law. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.

13. Third-Party Services

The App uses:

• Apple App Store for distribution and subscription billing
• Apple Health (if you choose to connect) for health data management
• Apple's geocoding services (if GPS is enabled) for local timezone determination

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
